Trunk Show at The Monogrammed Home in San Marino Village

My mom and I decided I would come visit home for a few weeks this July and we would design our Holiday themed line. Luckily enough, a friend of mine works at The Monogrammed Home in San Marino (Pasadena, CA) and invited us to come do a trunk show at the store for their summer stroll on July 19th, 2018.

To start off our adventure we decided to go up a day early and visit my Aunt in the Pacific Palisaides, CA. We wanted to have a chic fun lunch and ran by the ivy. Carrie, was in loveee with the roses (they were everywhere) and especially the little pitcher of roses on our table. They were hand painted with pineapples and flowers- I wish I knew where to buy one! We knew we were in the right place when they had a fresh pan seared soft shell crab which is Carries absolute favorite thing in the summer. We finished the evening with a stroll on the bluffs before heading to bed.

We woke up Thursday morning ready to go.. well once we picked up some coffees. Then we headed to The Monogrammed Home. About 10 days before the trunk show we got the idea to turn a few of our watercolors into embroidery and they loved the idea. You can now order them directly through their store. http://www.the-monogrammed-home.com We also brought our first set of holiday 2018 samples which we were so excited to share. We designed 1 scallop wreath, two tulip wreaths, a delphinium wreath, and two holly wreaths for this winter.

.... but then I realized we forgot place cards for their table scape event with Leadership Pasadena that Saturday.... We went straight into problem solving and googled art store. Thankfully there was a Michaels about 2.5 miles away. We ran over- picked up some supplies, and started place card ideas in their back room before the event started that evening. They ended up winning first place on Saturday! We were so happy to be part of their tablescape!
